“Eid Mubarak!”

Eid Mubarak

It means “may you enjoy a blessed festival” and I learned it while celebrating the end of Ramadan with my wonderful friend Mahbuba, who is originally from Bangladesh. As part of her celebration of the end of fasting she invited friends over and served us home-made Chicken Korma, Beef Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Ras Malai, Rice Pudding & Fruit Salad made with yogurt & garam masala.

In a word… AMAZING!!

Oh ya, and there may have been some wedding sari trying on… how could I resist?

Thank you so much Mahbuba! I’ll never forget it.

How blessed you were to share this celebration with Mahbuba, Linds. And I truly love the photo of you in the wedding sari!! πŸ™‚
